Horses graduating from our Western All-Around Horse Academy will gain skills, training and familiarity associated with the following six points:

1. Hunting Season (i.e. ridden in mountain topography, crossing rivers, snow, steep and rocky terrain, packing, leading in pack strings, rifles, ridden in the dark, hunting camps; elk, bear, moose, antelope, deer, etc.)
2. Summer Horseback Vacations and Fishing Trips (i.e. cross-country rides, hobbling, high mountain terrain and wide-open plains, lakes, river and stream crossing, antelope, deer, coyotes, game birds, pack strings, etc.)
3. General Ranch Work (i.e. opening gates and corral work, sorting, penning, and trailing cattle, roping, riding fence, wrangling horses, etc.)
4. Mounted Shooting Courses (i.e. running patterns, shooting balloons (blanks), reining, holding gaits and leads, etc.)
5. Reenactments (i.e. gunfire (blanks), cavalry formation drills and military maneuvers, bareback riding, etc.)
6. Arena Work (i.e. ground manners, reining, lead and gait changes, standing, backing, stopping, etc.)
